Today we're announcing a new project: Wikipedia in 60 Seconds—or WP:60 for short—a weekly newsletter that will teach you, during its open-ended run, all about the rules and processes that make Wikipedia what it is. You can sign up at the link below.

What's it going to be like? WP:60 will explain just one key concept at a time, always in plain English. Of course there will be jargon, but we'll explain it as we go. And we promise to be super-focused: each installment will never be over 140 words. (Not 140 characters, that would just be silly.)

In the spirit of this new project, we're going to wrap this post up quickly. The very first email goes out this Wednesday, November 12. We hope you'll join us!
