Account Manager
Beutler Ink (aka BINK), a creative PR agency specializing in Wikipedia consulting and creative content strategies, seeks an Account Manager to join our growing team. As an integral part of BINK’s team, your primary responsibilities will be to manage new and ongoing client projects, manage inbound new business, and develop a successful relationship throughout the client lifecycle from onboarding to completion.
Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in client relationships, account management, project management, project scoping, and leading cross-functional project teams. This role requires excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—along with strong collaboration, organizational, and project scoping abilities across all disciplines.

Position Description
Has or develops a strong understanding of all client services offered at Beutler Ink (BINK), including Wikipedia, social media, design, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and our proprietary software, WikiWatch
Manages client relationships; Account Managers work with clients across disciplines on all projects
Maintains a holistic view of all our projects, how they are managed, and how they affect budgets, resources, schedules, responsiveness, client satisfaction, as well as our collective and individual workloads from project initiation through to project closeout
Researches and understands the business fundamentals of our clients’ products, brands, and business(es)
Works with Sales Team Leads on proposals, providing input, writing and reviewing scopes of work, and leading pricing decisions
Work with Strategy Team to develop work plans that align with client goals while upholding BINK’s standards and best practices
Co-leads client calls with Sales Team, or Director, or President
Be an active team support when and where needed
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of complex client relationships
Act as project manager and main point of contact for client interactions
Own SOWs, track and report on deliverables, and manage project schedules
Make decisions and take action in the face of demanding client situations
Actively solicit feedback from clients during and after projects, sharing insights with internal teams to recommend solutions and drive improvements
Mentor, train, and collaborate with Project Coordinators
Maintain visibility across all projects, ensuring budgets, resources, schedules, and workloads are aligned to meet client expectations and team capacity
Collaborate with Sales to craft proposals, develop scopes of work, and provide input on pricing
Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients by understanding their evolving needs and aligning them with BINK’s capabilities
Lead client calls with support from the Strategy team and participate in new business calls alongside Sales to establish client relationships from the outset
Proactively identify risks or challenges that may affect timelines, budgets, or deliverables, and develop solutions to keep projects on track
Ensure deliverables meet BINK’s quality standards and client expectations before delivery
Serve as a flexible team resource, providing support where and when needed
Foster a positive team environment and help maintain morale
Dedicate at least 50% of time to client management, ensuring BINK meets client objectives and delivers high-quality work
Skills / Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
3–5 years of experience in client management, project management, project scoping, and leading cross-functional teams
Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail
Solution-oriented, proactive, and collaborative team player
Flexible and able to work under pressure, across time zones, and occasionally outside standard hours
Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
Motivated self-starter who can independently lead remote projects and ensure clear communication with minimal oversight
Comfortable operating in ambiguity when processes or expectations are not fully defined
Strong interpersonal skills with professionalism, adaptability, and composure under pressure
Skilled in presentation, coordination, problem-solving, negotiation, and critical thinking
Strong commitment to follow-through and meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
Advanced proficiency in Google Suite
Experience with project management and CRM software
Key soft skills: leadership, interpersonal communication, conflict management, written communication, and business acumen
Preferred Experience
Agency experience
Experience with Teamwork, Monday.com, Harvest, Dropbox, Slack, HubSpot
Experience working remotely across multiple time zones and collaborating through cloud-based tools with cross-functional teams (strategy, design, production, development) to deliver projects on time and on budget
Familiarity with Wikipedia, especially editing practices and conflict of interest (COI) guidelines

$65,000–$70,000
