If they get sustained press coverage, yes, and in most cases, permanently. A round of cuts covered by major outlets becomes part of the company's documented history, and well-sourced history does not come out of a Wikipedia article. And the bigger the company, the more likely it is to be retained.
The part that is negotiable is proportion. Wikipedia's own rules say articles should give topics space in proportion to their real news coverage, and its editors recognize that fresh events tend to get overwritten at first and trimmed later. A request that argues for proportional treatment succeeds far more often than one that argues the material is incomplete or misleading (although if you have sources for that, they could be useful). Expect issues like this to be fixable over months, given editors' caution around changes that could be seen as polishing a company's reputation.
